In a headline that shocked us all today, Peter Moore has stepped down from his position in Microsoft to head as the President of EA’s Sports Division. Whether this move was money motivated or not is subject to some debate. Of interesting note is that he was offered a cool $1.5 Million in compensation for signing up.

Yeah i read this on MSNBC yesterday afternoon. According to that article, it was reported that Moore wanted to move his family back to the Bay area. I’ll bet there’s more to it than that though…
Great, Maybe now EA can start issuing patches for their buggy ass software as often as Micro$oft issues patches for their buggy ass software. Anything would be an improvement for EA.
