On my lunch break today I ran over to Best Buy to pick up a copy of the new Picross DS. For those of you not in the know, Picross DS is a puzzle game that plays sort of like a cross between Sudoku and crossword puzzles. The object of the game is to uncover pictures hidden in a grid, using only numbers. Back in the day, the old school “brick-style” Gameboy had a similar title called Mario’s Picross. Picross DS is essentially the same thing, but adds Wi-Fi head-to-head modes and the ability to create and trade your own puzzles, among other things.
Interesting. I actually didn’t hear about this game. I played my DS a lot during the long drive to Maryland. The games I had kept me company enough, though.
