Ahhhh, now that I’ve worked my way through Halo 3, I can stop avoiding any videogame related websites for fear of spoilers. I plowed through on Easy so I could finish it before some jackass decided it would be funny to ruin the payoff for everyone. But anyway, I have to say I thoroughly enjoyed it. Not as much as Halo 1, but a hell of a lot more than The Deuce. There were a few moments that went in completely different directions then I thought they would, but in a good way. The Brutes are much more fun to fight than they used to be, the Needler is actually pretty damn cool, and while the Marines still can’t drive worth a damn, they’re much more capable when it comes to manning the turrets (not to mention that they have a few lines that made me laugh pretty hard). I’m not seeing why some people are ripping on the graphics though. Sure it’s not as pretty as Gears was, but I think the designs are better. Not to mention how much stuff is going on at the same time while running very smoothly. I think this is one that’ll be in my 360 for a long time (or at least until Mass Effect comes out).

Wow! You plowed through that game fast! I am still pretty early on into the game. Fun game, though.
I would also like to add that the Forge mode rocks.
Yeah, It’s pretty much all I did Tuesday night. I didn’t mess around in Forge too much, I figure I’ll wait til this weekend before I really bother with multiplayer. Unless we get some co-op going! I’m going back through it on Normal, then I’ll do Heroic, but I’m not sure I’ll be able to finish Legendary by myself. I did in Halo 1, but couldn’t in Halo 2.
Fritz, you need another hobby. Hate to rag on you, but cmon dude. I’m lucky to get 2 hours at a week to play video games anymore. I fired up Halo 3 for the first time last night and looked at the last time I played on XBL. 74 days ago. I was dumbfounded. Mind you I played Bioshock for a little while, but still. It’s still warm outside, get out and chase some tail or something. Winter is what video games are made for.
Nah, I actually don’t play games nearly as much as I used to. I’ve been sick this week, so I had a lot of free time. It’s actually been the first time in the last few weeks that I’ve had to myself.
