Well by now I am sure most people that are Gamespot fans now know what just went down a few days ago. Long time editor Jeff Gerstman was fired after giving a low review to the game Kane and Lynch Dead Men. Apparently Eidos has a stranglehold on cnet with advertisement contracts. The news is on kotaku and gamespot forums. I for one will be canceling my subscription and boycott the site from now on. Best of luck to you Jeff. Hope to see you writing again and thanks for your integrity and awesome reviews.

I echo that comment, Steve. Eidos has CNET by the balls and this is what happens when politics come to play. On an even funnier note though, it appears as though Eidos has been fibbing about their scores for Kane & Lynch. 5 out of 5? Why not make it 6 out of 5 Eidos?
