Uwe Boll is at it again, and this time with young Master Higgins in Adventure Island: The Movie. In the film, Master Higgins runs around an island collecting fruit to save precious time while hurtling rock axes at deadly creatures. “It’s a film that shows us how American’s are always in a hurry, but in the end, get no where. The fruit symbolizes mans greed,” says Boll. He also added, “I was always a big fan of the game. I particularly enjoy the game maker, Hudson Soft’s, mascot… such a cute, cuddly bee. The starring role will be played by Jorge Garcia, who also plays Hurley on tv sensation Lost. Jorge had this to say about his role in the film:
Jorge Garcia: “Master Higgins and I have a lot in common. We are both larger than the average guy and we both like to eat…a lot.”
Expect a trailer coming later this month.

Awesome just awesome. That is the funniest thing I’ve seen all day!
That dude can eat a ton of fruit. I wonder if he’s going to have his dinosaur buddy for the game too. This was one of my favorite games for NES, I can’t wait to see the CG in this film.
