I was playing Elderscrolls IV: Oblivion earlier and found that my earliest game save is from 2006. That may not seem like anything but here’s the thing: I still haven’t beaten it yet! Sure, I’ve been playing it off and on, but the majority of the reason is sidequests and more sidequests. I would’ve had this done and over with if it hadn’t been for that. With all the sidequests, classes, etc., this game was definitely worth every penny I spent on it. Another great game I can think of that gives more bank for your buck is The Orange Box. You get 5 great games for the price of one! The question now is: What game comes to your mind when you think of great value?

I like the new logo. Maybe adding something more to the background would make it more interesting.
I consider value for games the length of time played. Online play has significantly added value to games. I played Halo 2 for around a year and a half because the online play was so good. I forgot most of the story line with the original game. That’s how much I played it. Gears of War was another game that was great due to the online co-op and online deathmatch games.
When GTA4 comes out, I’m sure I’ll play it much like GTA3. Chaos. Sometimes I felt like doing missions, sometimes I felt like getting 6 warrants out for my arrest. Even if I didn’t accomplish anything in the game I still walked away from it entertained. Vice city and San Andreas seemed like add on games to GTA3. They’re fun, the music and cars are cool, but the whole concept was the same. GTA 4 should have improved functionality with the online play and the graphics are of the newer generation.
