Due to a number of reports from people having their PS3s ruined due to the new firmware update, Sony has removed it for download on the Playstation Network. Lucky for me, I read about its potential harm before downloading it myself today, and even luckier for the rest of the masses, it has been taken down so they don’t end up having to repair their systems, or reformat their hard drive.
Sony is currently working on solving the problem. It looks like we will have to wait again for those gamer trophies and in game cross media bar. To follow the progress on the fix, visit the Playstation Blog.
