Rock Revolution Review: Worst Game of this year period.

With games like Guitar Hero and Rock Band pushing what music games can do, there will inevitably come companies trying to copy their formula for success. Rock Band and Guitar Hero have done wonders for the music industry. Radio stations are modifying their playlists to each games DLC and regular tracks, music companies are making a lot in licensing, and musical tastes have been expanded.

However there are companies who will exploit this, like Konami’s Rock Revolution. This game is how you exactly not make a music game. With poor graphics, boring gameplay, terrible sound, and wonky controls, you have yourself something equivalent to getting punched in the balls.

The Graphics. Oh how they are bad. The game looks grainy, the venue look boring, and the characters look uninspiringly lame. The motion capture (if there is any) also looks rather dull. It makes me not want to look at the game.

Oh. I guess i forgot to mention on how the not cursor is an overview (instead of scrolling toward the player it is going down screen). This is hard to get used to and makes you wish that they would rip off rock band and have it scroll towards you. Its like banging a broad in the butt and she takes a dump. It fucking sucks!!!!!

O the sound, well there is only the tunes, and wow just listen to the covers. here are some

They suck BALLS! I mean, it seems they put no effort into how the game.

Controls. Well, just look at the drum pad

Who made this? Fisher Price? Why couldn’t they include symbols if they wanted to be different?

Replay Value. Unlike Rock Band and GH: WT, you cannot sing in this game. So its impossible to avoid the terrible. They will hunt you down and viscerally rape your eardrums.

So, this is the Worst game of the year. Its like they take the worst aspects of the current (and past for that matter) music games, do nothing to differentiate themselves, and becomes pointless. Its about $110.00 at the cheapest, and its not worth a single cent.
