Super Mario Crossover Blows My Mind

My inner child is giddy with glee. A developer at New Grounds has recreated the entire Super Mario Bros. game and made it playable with characters from old NES games. You can play the entire game with Samus, Megaman, Simon Belmont, Bill (Mad Dog) from Contra and even Link. Powerups grant abilities for certain characters like charging the megabuster for Megaman or spread for Bill. Just awesome. You can check the game out here at New Grounds. The Strangest Game Documentary Video Ever

The good folks at Kotaku pointed out an interesting video yesterday featuring an amalgamation of different games through out the decades in interesting form. This is probably one of the weirdest videos I’ve seen in a long time, and is incredibly entertaining. It includes, but not limited to, Mario peeing, making a goomba cry, Doom chainsaw action, and Ryu and Guile giving each other romantic glances.
